RAVE - Rede Ferroviária de Alta Velocidade, S.A., is the Portuguese company whose mission is to develop and co-ordinate the necessary studies and projects to facilitate decisions on the planning, construction, financing, provision and operation of a high-speed rail network to be created in mainland Portugal and its connection with a similar Spanish network.
RAVE was constituted by Decree Law No. 323-H/2000, published in the Diário da República gazette No. 291 (supplementary series I A), dated 19 December.
Share Capital: €2.5 million
Shareholders: Portuguese State - 60%; REFER - 40%.
